New Fun Finder

I recently picked up a new Fun Finder 214 WSD, and love the layout and features.

Mods so far? I moved over a Winegard roof-mounted satellie dish that I had on my previous trailer.

Bumper hatch cover and new stinky slinky? Check.

I also stripped off most of the graphics. (I wasn't happy with how the ones on the last trailer faded and cracked.)

I also swapped out a Vizio HDTV for a DOA oCosmo unit. I'll upgrade the satellite receiver and DVR this week.

Love it so far. I just need to figure out one issue...

When I'm hooked to the truck and it's running, I have power in the trailer.

When I'm hooked to shore power, it's fine.

I'm not getting anything from battery power. The dual batteries check out fine, with 12.6 volts on a meter today. I'm guessing the issue may be in my battery cut-off switch, and will have the dealer look at it this week.

Good news...the electrical issue was a fuse. I checked every one I could find. Apparently there's one under the battery box, and I missed it.

Here's a picture of the old one. That's a wolf trying to remove my spare tire cover.

Thanks. It was in a drive-thru wild animal park in Rapid City, SD, called Bear Country USA. The photo was taken by the people in the motorhome behind me. They found it pretty funny.

Loved our 266KIRB FunFinder. It was trouble free for the year we owned it. The only reason we don't still have it is we wanted something bigger for extended stays and full timing next year.

Nice! I almost feel like I went a hair big on the 21-footer. It's sooo roomy.

We have a 2013 215WSK and love it. Similar to the 214WSD, it is the perfect floor plan for a couple. So far, we have camped in it a total of about 10 weeks and over 3,500 miles. We plan for 3-4 months in total next year. I have only seen 2 other Fun Finders in our travels and am surprised there are not more on the road.
