New Guy

Had to get out of this state before it becomes a total fascist regime. About the rig, nothing super special stored for 7 years in a climate controlled warehouse, 27k miles. New tires well 2016 dot date. Triton V10. So far added LED headlights, 40" LED light bar, rear LED 60" stop, turn, reverse, hazard light bar. Roadmaster steering stabilizer. I added a 6 channel tire pressure moniter and a new 3 channel camera monitor. Performance mods include a Gale banks cat back, cold air intake with a custom prefilter sock and a 5-Star custom tune. I flushed all the tanks....damn. Im in the process of changing all the fluids. Now the dealer said they checked everything, blah, blah, blah. Rear diff Dana 80, the fluid looked like mud, I was pretty shocked how bad lubed for life fluids can look. Im a big fan of Amsoil. I flushed the diff 3 times before the mud stoped . Im going through the complete rig before I escape from here. Found window sticker in the bag/folder that came with the RV. Looks like 10k in options. We just drove it home from the dealer and after seeing the diff fluid, its staying in the driveway before I am satisfied with its safety and reliability.

Welcome!! Don't forget to change the brake fluid, that stuff absorbs water even while sitting.

Some mods

LED lights, can,t say anything but incredible how much better over the halogens. GB catback perfect amount of deep rumble but quite inside. Cold air intake, very quite. 5 Star tune as usual ,spot on perfection on acceleration, shift firmness and throttle response. Ive always run a prefilter, yes kills 1-2hp but keeps the filter clean longer, dust falls off when you hit a bump and it kept from hydrolocking my Jeep Rubicon when I went into a stream that was over my hood. More to come...
