We just purchased a new Monaco Diplomat 36SKT during the middle of August. They discontinued this model in 06 and there were only two left in California. The one close to home had colors that my wife said "No Way". We bought a green one in Fresno at Paul Evert's. We love the coach with the 400 Cummins (it's a rocket). The fit and finish were great with just a few minor repairs needed.

Paul Evert's sales was great, but their service sucked. It took two days to fix 6 hours worth of small problems. This is weird, but everything is working perfectly. I know that doesn't happen too often when you purchase a diesel with all of the systems. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I think the largest increase in diesel fuel prices occurred the day we signed on the dotted line for the new coach. I still figure we can get away for several small trips on one tank of fuel and enjoy the coach.

Good luck with your new coach, I'm sure you are going enjoy using it.

We are going to do the same- shorter trips in-state during the year and save up for our annual big trip. Probably end up spending the same amount of fuel money for the year.

My wife and I both loved the 36SKT floor plan. Didn't know they were going to discontinue that floor plan in 06.

Congratulations on your new MH!
