Yeah, it finally came in. We have waited nearly 3 months for the 34SBD Monaco Monarch to arrive. We have previously owned two travel trailers and a large 5th wheel. After our 4th child, our trips were limited to how much my wife and I could tolerate in the cab of my Ford Super Duty Crew Cab. That was about 4 or 5 hours. We searched MH makers that had bunk bed floor plans and found 9 makes and models. After we visited dealers that had these MH's, we narrowed our choice to the Tiffin Allegro Open Road and the Monaco Monarch 34 SBD. We felt like the Monaco gave us more for the money in ammenities and nice to have items (taller ceilings, two heat pumps, double pain glass, bath tub, central vac, ice maker, 4 tv's, Corian counter tops, leather everything, etc. etc). We ordered the coach on March 1st and and took deleivery on May 20th. We tow a 2007 Ford Explorer 4 down and the experience has been good. I thought the 5th wheel was dramatically easier than the travel trailer to drag and set up. But the MH takes a fraction of the effort and time. What a difference.
This forum helped me get the information needed to tell my local Ford dealer how to install the neutral tow kit. Thanks IRV2.com. This is a great site for informtion and opinnion sharing.

Congrats on your new MH. I'm sure you will have many enjoyable miles and trips the kids will enjoy. We also found the MH much quicker to set up, plug in, push buttons, and you are ready to relax. Also like you , I to thank the forum for the Ford NTK info I needed as well. Happy camping.

Congratulations on your new Monarch. We took delivery of our 31SFS in early March and have no regrets at all. Like you we were traveling in a Ford Super Duty with a 5th wheel. What a difference in towing, set-up and breaking camp. We opted to tow a Chevy Colorado (and it broke my heart to buy a Chevy) because it can be towed 4 down with no modifications. We've been out in it 6 times, including the NorEaster's Spring Rally, and have absolutly no regrets. My bride even drives this one, something she wouldn't even consider with the 5th wheel.
I hope you enjoy yours as much as we are ours!!!
