We just traded our 2007 Coachmen Concord for a new 2009 Newmar Allstar. Very excited. Two young sons and plan to do lots of traveling this summer. This coach is very different from our Concord. Lots to learn so that's why I joined here. No pics yet.

Yes, it is a 4156, with a room in the back that will be finished as a bunk room.

Ah, that's the Imagination Room floorplan. Love it! Pics please, particularly as you finish it.

I like my Ventana, but I often wish I'd bought the 4156 or 4154. Did you get the one that's been for sale for a while in Minnesota?

Yes, I did get the 4156 in Mn. -- Nice folks. We found a used 4154 at another place that I really, really loved but we couldn't come to terms with them. Can't believe Newmar quit making those 4154s. Ended up with a new coach for less $$. Hubby likes the engine better. In floor heat is amazing. I don't like the floor plan as well, or the pergo look-alike but once the back is done I hope I will like it better. I can tell my boys "go to your room"!

Will definitely share pics once it's done. It was a dream to drive. Drove it home mostly in one day from Mn to Il and hubby said it didn't faze him.

007--thanks for the welcome to the Newmar forum. Are you a tough moderator? I will definitely come on over there with lots of questions. Have already had some pop up. Our steps got stuck in the extended position the first night at Wal-mart on the way home!

Thanks all,

We are working with Newmar to finish up the back room of our coach and I will post updates on the owner's forum. They emailed us a plan for bunk beds. The mattress in the plan is only 24" wide, so that concerned me a bit. We are going to have to see if we can tweek that a bit. My boys are skinny but they may not be forever. I will come over to the owner's forum and post a couple of questions after I talk to them.

I am glad to hear there are so many happy Newmar owners. My husband talked to several people on the phone at the factory and he was impressed with them so far.

Thanks again!
