New RV

Well I finally made the change. I traded the 2000 Landau in on a 2016 Thor Siesta Sprinter. Just returned from a trip to Fountain Inn, SC. The 24 ft class C is really easy to drive, so far I'm getting 15-16 mpg.
Still trying to sort out the storage. The 36ft DP really had room for everything, I now have to be more selective, but it does have a lot of storage..
The model I have has twin beds in the back with a filler mattress than makes into a king bed. Theater seating in the cabin, and a bunk bed over the cockpit. So far I've not used the toad, the RV does not need much room.

Congrats, fine looking rig. At some point we will downsize as well and the Sprinter looks to be a winner.

I've put over 4000 miles on it since June, trips to SC, Md and Niagara Falls. Some minor "new RV" problems that have been resolved. Carpenters Rv in Pensacola has been excellent. Mileage stays between 15 and 16.5, at >65< with no toad. Very easy to drive and maneuver, it fits in most parking lots, only rented a car at Niagara for Canada visit. Large pass thru storage under the bedroom on this model. (Last compartment door on each side)
Short legs (under 300 miles) with 26gal tank, my Dp had 90 gal and 700+ range. Shower is "snug", being polite. Hard to find other complaints.

Congrats to you. Very nice Motorhome!

We have a 2014 Vue, with the twin beds. 36K miles in 23 months, a little over 16mpg total average, cruising about 62mph.

Make sure the alignment is good! I did not pay attention & had some uneven wear . PS- You probably have Continental tires-they are Great- I have gad all 7 on the front & rotate them to keep them evenly worn.

I change my own Oil & I also changed the Fuel Filter. Have had 2 burned out Headlights-and have visited MB for-1-computer upgrade concerning the DEF light on and -2-replace rear wheel sensor that caused the check engine light to illuminate

Hope you have the fun we have had, we are accustomed to the size, have been on 2 sixty day runs, and we have adapted to the storage nicely. We stay at State, Local, National and Corps parks primarily- Love seeing all the younger folks with families.
