Welcome! That sure looks like a nice coach! Hope the kiddos are having fun. Sure is a lot bigger than the little Mobile Traveler we used to get all over the country in when you guys were little. We'll be in AZ in July....maybe meet up somewhere?

I wish I would have done the same when my kids were little....Too busy working!
I didn't get my start in one of these either, it was an old Nimrod tent trailer with my parents!

What a great looking rig!
Hope you and the family have as many as you do miles!
( I also grew up with an RV that my father owned and I have many happy memories of those years too!)

Really like the bunks. I think I'd give the kids the big bed and take the bunks

If you want to create a life time bond with your kids - take them camping as much as you can. You're definitely on the way to a whole great season of fun and in style...enjoy and take lot's of pictures

Very nice! We started as a little boy (I'm 36 now) in a 1952 GMC bus that my grandparents converted in the 60's to a coach. We loved it, then over time folks graduated to a class C, the a slide in camper, '87 Starcraft 5th, '98 Alpenlite 5th, and now a '12 Montana Mountaineer. We have a '08 Copper Canyon bunkhouse 5th for my new family as I'm recently married for the first time and my wife has kids from a previous marriage. We are buiding memories as fast as we can...trust me speaking from experience....the kids will love it and they WILL remember the good times with you. I'm looking forward to camping again with my new family and my parents.

Welcome to the forum, nice rig...
As kids ,we almost never went on vacations . My parents were saving for when they retired..My mother passed away before her first social security check. My dad is now too tired to go anywhere ,and has told me not to wait ,get out there and have fun.

Life is short ,enjoy it.

My parents started us camping first in a tent, then a pop-up, which they took me and my brothers across the US in, and then into 3 Airstreams; they retired into 3 motorhomes.

I also did a similar progression. I'm on my 3rd motorhome, purchasing my first MH in 2000. We love the RV lifestyle.

P.S. I'm still a young kid in my 50's

Congratulations on your new rig. Enjoy it every chance you get.
