Holly7, thanks for the reply about the lemon law. What recourse did you get from filling? Did they take the unit back and refund all the expense you had it getting it registered, Taxes you paid, cost of storage while it was being worked on? Any reimbursement for doing without the unit for 3 months? Im attempting to be a full timer, but it's not easy when my new unit is unusable. I guess i'm lucky I'm stranded in a town where I have family that is putting up with me while I'm without my home.
From what I read on this blog, I can expect to have frequent problems with my Jacks and slides. Warranty can help with the parts and labor, but what happens when I'm not near family to take cover with while Lippert takes excessive time to diagnose and agree they are responsible for the failure. I'll be better off when the warranty is over and I can fix it myself? How fair is that? Thanks again, any advice on how and who to file with would be appreciated .
Chuck

Hi.
We just bought an identical unit. Since we are very new to this we will be watching with interest your posts. Sway bar and mascerator, huh?? No one said it wasn't a steep learning curve.

Congrats on your new unit. Hopefully you get as much enjoyment out of yours as we have with ours.
I have done any of the mods to our unit.....yet. So far I've encountered ZERO issues. The unit does tend to get blown around in the wind. I do plan on doing the Cheap Handling Fix to help with that.

The sway bar mod should help with that a little... It will tighten up the suspension a bit.

The CHF helps a bunch, and so does adding a rear trac bar. And koni shocks will do wonders for the ride and I love the five star tune.

Great looking coach.
All the comforts of home, and a fantastic escape vehicle, all in one.

What are the sway bar and cheap handling fixes?
Can anyone provide links to the above?
I really like the ACE 29.2, especially the mega-storage garage in back and the overall small size for a Class A but have read about quite a few issues and am a little concerned about the quality of this unit.
Thanks!

, TarheelGal! Here's a link to the cheap handling fix thread, all 100 pages of it! It also has some references to rear trackbars many of us have put on our F53-based coaches. Hope this helps!

We've had no issues to date with our 2013 ACE 29.2. It's definitely an entry level coach and is slapped together using cheap materials. But this is fairly typical for units in this price point.

We just purchased a 29.2. What is the issue with the auto levellers? Thanks
Barry
