Looks great! We just got our Tiffin a couple of weeks ago and we love it! What kind of tow bar did you get and how much was it?

Hi

I chose Blue OX all the way. Most installers I spoke to about installing my baseplate and tow bar asked " I hope you are using Blue OX "

My baseplate for my Chev Cobalt is BlueOx. I did have trouble getting one that wasn't bent. BlueOx kept sending one until I got a perfect one. Great company.

My tow bar is an Aventa II purchased from AdventureRV at a total cost of $598.00.

My wiring for the veh and to the RV is Blue OX. I also used a 4" BlueOX drop receiver.

I am using a Brake Buddy but BlueOx would have been Ok also.

Hope that answers your question.

John

That's what I've been hearing a lot from buyers of Tiffin's...."recommendations" and "quality of craftmanship"...guess you can't go wrong w/that! ;-)

'...That did it for me. I didn't research any other brands or go to any RV shows! I found what I wanted at DandyRV in Alabama as they offered the best price and without ever looking further we made a deal. A few days later we flew to Alabama and finished the deal and drove it home.

So far so good. We will be at the Rally in Sept.

John
Have fun at the Rally and take lots of pics! ;-)

John, Great rig!! Bought our first motorhome last year and being a newbie I had only heard about Winnebago & Damon. Came across a used 2008 Tiffin TGA and after researching and reading all the favorable remarks about Tiffin we bought it. My wife loves the layout and I like the way it handles on the highway. We have put 8,000 miles on it including a trip to Red Bay. Very impressed with how they are manufactured. best of luck with the TGA and many happy travels.

Hope you are enjoying your new Tiffin. We just ordered a 2012 34TGA. Should be in end of August.

Unhappy Bird nests

Hi,

The birds also like to nest in the propane heater exhaust outlet. Once they are in there it is not good. When i store my RV I tape that vent area up.

They have a screen cover you can mount on those outlets now. Got them on all exhaust outlets.
