New to the site and new to an RV. Have been reading all kinds of good info on here. Thanks everyone for posting up such good resources.
Bot a 2000 Alpine Coach local that only has 12,500 miles on it, 200 hrs on the genset. Will be pulling a trailer with it as we're drag racers. Already has a 15,000lb class 5 hitch on it. Might be putting a trailer toad behind it depending on our loaded weight/tongue weight when we get everything together.
It is @ the local Cummins shop that also has a full service RV shop getting a full inspection and getting any little things fixed that it needs (the seller was very nice in agreeing to have a 3rd party go over everything and make sure it was tip top for delivery). It did need the inverter sent off to be rebuilt and a stator for the generator (saved me about $2000 )
I don't get to pick it up til early next week but I'm anxious to get it.

I have been following NASCAR / Dirt track racing for 10+ years now, before that it was going to the Summer Nationals in Englishtown, NJ and Reading PA.
I need to go back ....

GENE: you don't want THAT one ....look how the rear tires are all WRINKLED, probably not too smooth riding.
68droptop: WELCOME to iRV2.com, and CONGRATS on the Alpine, they are very nice coaches.

Thanks. I know there will be some issues with the older coaches, hopefully I can handle most of them myself, if not the local Cummins does good RV work, just a little expensive.
I do have to put a new set of tires on it before I do any serious travelling, any recommendations for the 22.5's?

Welcome!
We put Bridgestone R280 tires on our 2002 Alpine Coach and have been very satisfied. Stop by the Alpine Coach section on IRV2.... lot of good reading there.

Thanks. It is in excellent shape, I hope I don't get too many of the "not used enough" gremlins... but I figure hardly used is better than worn out
