New to us

Just picked this one up yesterday. Traded the truck and fifth wheel. We're both excited and scared.

Nice, but I'd sure hate to try to keep in cool.

Most RV's in southern area's are white for a reason.

i understand your reasoning but we find our single air conditioner keeps our rig very comfortable and we have camped in 100' temps. see my profile pic and you will notice we are a very dark coach.

That's a GREAT looking Rig! We were scared buying our first big rig, but we've been on the road for over a month now and though we've had some technical difficulties it's been a great time.

What's your maiden voyage in that beauty going to be? Are you going to tow a vehicle?

Good luck, safe travels and remember; attitude is the difference between ordeal and adventure!

SWEEEEET!

Look forward to some commentary in the future of the differences between the 5th and the Class A. Always good to have the perspective of both modes.

CONGRATS! Don't be scared.

Now you can sit back and relax while watching the guy with the 5th wheel who pulled in at the same time continues with his setup. Enjoy and relax. Soon you'll handle it like a sports car!!

Appreciate the wishes. First trip will be the 150 miles back to the dealer so they can install everything we need to tow a Chevy Equinox. After that, wife wants to go to Biloxi, I want to go to the Smokey Mountains.

What are they going to install? What year is the Equinox ? I thought front wheel drives could only be towed on a dolly. I am interested because we have a 2012 Equinox. Thanks.
