New to us Monaco

Hi there! Thought I should jump in here on the iRV2 forums. I've lurked and lingered a little while shopping for an RV over the last year and found a wealth of information - so an overdue collective thanks for your guidance!

We just signed the papers for a new-to-us 2006 Monaco Windsor 40PDQ. Super nice condition, low miles and a pretty good deal! We're super excited!

Prior to this we had a TT, so we're not new to camping, but we are new to the Class A life.

There are 3 of us, myself (Missy), my husband and our 8 year old daughter. We're looking forward to some serious recreation! Hope to continue to learn a lot here!

What a beautiful coach, you have one of the best to start with. These are hard to find, you were lucky, enjoy and travel safe.

Congrats! You got one of the last good ones built by Monaco. Gotta love that cherry wood.

Very nice !! We purchased a 98 38 ft Dynasty last year with low miles. Yours is the same as ours but your floorplan is opposite of ours. Monaco made some of the best coaches during these years before going out of business. Now they are back again !!

Enjoy the ride !!

Would love some advice and wisdom. We just put a deposit down on a 2006 Monaco Diplomat 40DPQ, 30,000 miles, original tires, great condition, just a little dated.

Have family of 4 - thinking of adding a 2nd sleeper sofa in place of built in desk. It needs new tile & carpet & new backsplash. Also want to update to flat screen TV's. Price is $104,500 (includes new tires). Is this a fair price and what has been your experience with a Monaco?

The Diplomat is a well built coach but the price sounds high. Here is one that sold a year ago for $70,000. I understand that condition is everything.

Thank you so much for your reply. We were feeling it was a bit high. From pics you shared, the one we are looking at is in similar shape.
