Does the truck know it's back there? We have a short butt 24' that meets our needs just fine.

Thank you all, to answer some questions, RoyM no the truck doesnt know it is there. Went to the Oregon coast from UT and the trip was great. 13 MPG all the way.

Skip, definitely not overloaded. I wasnt looking to get a drw when I was looking for a new truck, but the price was right for a good truck and bit the bullet. We had an older f-250, but it was geared so high I would slow down up hills to 30. I needed something a little better.

Nice rig and probably easy to tow. We went more places with our 26 ft Cougar than the last two big fifth wheels we had. That's what it's about, getting out there and having fun, enjoy.

Nice lil rig, reminds me of the first 5er we had back in the late 90's. A 1/2 ton truck can handle it with no trouble, that truck you have should be pulling around a 35 footer with three slideouts! Have fun and enjoy!
