I finaly got the finising touches on my new truck and trailer.
The truck is a 2000 660 Volo, I cut the rear axle off and built a deck on it with storage compartments and enough room to carry 2 quads with the trailer hooked on. I also installed two 200 gal water tanks, 1 fresh water for the trailer and 1 grey water to haul it to a dump station. I also installed a Trailer Saver air ride hitch on the deck. In the cab I installed 2 new leather air ride seats up front. In the sleeper we removed the bottom bunk and installed a Jacknife sofa with seat belts for 4. It came with a fridge, so we also installed a microwave, coffee maker and a 17"TV/DVD. It has a 12 liter Volvo engine producing 425 hp and 1650 lf/lbs torque with a 15 speed transmission with double overdrives and 3:58/1 rear end gears. I get between 9 and 10.5 mpg @ 60mph turning 1475 rpm fully loaded depending on terran.
The trailer is a Canadian Sport by Forest River, it's a 41' triple slide triple axle toy hauler. It has a 10 foot garage for hauling my Harley and 1 more quad. It also has a 40 gal fuel station for the genny and fueling the quads. I had my dealer install thermopane windows because the manufactur did not offer this option. I installed the 2nd air conditioner up front as well as Max Air covers on all vents. It has a Cruise TV auto Sattilite system. In the garage I installed a 2nd 35000 BTU furnace for those cold Canadian days. I also intalled a large catilitic heater in the living room. I replaced the hidabed with a Lazyboy love seat and I replaced the TV with a 37" Plasma TV. For power I have a 5500 Onan Marquies Platnum generator, a 3000 watt Onan inverter with coach command, 3 100 watt solar pannals and 6 Trojan T105 battries. I also installed backup cameras with day/night vision and microphones on the back of the truck and trailer. They are wireless and feed a 7" color moniter in the cab of the 660. I pull my 94 Jeep YJ as a toad, but don't have pics of that just yet. I will quite bragging now
Cheers
Bear
