Ok so, I lied about the Southwind and bought a Bounder instead!

Well the deal on the Southwind fell through... But I am happy to announce that it all happened for a reason, because we were able to get the coach we really wanted in the first place - a Bounder! This is a brand new 2016 Fleetwood Bounder 33C! Just drove her the 1200+mi ride home from FL to CT and we couldn't be happier! Something felt funny about the deal with the Southwind in the first place... We even got to camp in Jetty Park on the way home and catch the Spacex rocket launch!

Here's a picture of her on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge & Tunnel. What a ride that part was!

You gotta love that new Bounder front cap!

I never ...

I never feel comfortable at dealerships ... car, RV, boat ... pick your poison.

I'd love to here the story on the RV that fell through. Did you go through the same dealer?

Basically, the deal fell through. The service guy at the dealer called me a couple of days before my scheduled pickup with a laundry list of major issues with the coach, and telling me that it wouldn't be ready for another month. Mind you, I was flying to FL from NJ (which they knew) and we had closed the deal over 2 weeks earlier. To me, the issues sounded like it could have been a larger problem with the coach, and I also didn't have the time to wait another month to get one. Also, they offered no sort of consolation. These things all seemed to be a sign for me and my lady to walk as we originally wanted a Bounder anyway. It all worked out!

Wat dealer in FL did u buy Bounder From??

We bought the Southwind 34A. Seems like the two are very similar. Been on one 4 day trip to see how everything works. Found a few issues that are being corrected. Hope to get her back shortly!! Enjoy your new RV and we hope all will be great adventure for you.
