Our 2010 Itasca Ellipse

My wife and I are new to the RV world and we jumped in with both feet when we purchased the Itasca Ellipse 40CD. When we started our search I wanted something smaller 32-34 feet but as we looked at more and more RV's our desires changed. We had decided on a Tiffin Phaeton and went to several dealers looking for a good used one that had the options we wanted. Phaeton's were in short supply when we were shopping and we found this Ellipse for a very good price.

It has everything we wanted and a lot more. We have had it just over a month now and have been on one trip with it for 4 days. It was cold that weekend and the coach heater proved a challenge to adjust correctly but I figured it out and we enjoyed our time. This is a whole new way of living and we have a lot to learn.

We still can't believe we purchased something so big but we love everything about it. Very comfortable, very spacious and surprisingly easy to drive. I am looking forward to this summer when we are planning a long trip to Texas.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

That's a beautiful coach you've got there. We too jumped in with both feet when we bought our Ellipse new in 07. It'll all become second nature to you very quickly.

Best of luck.
