And they recently came with optional additional LP tank.
It already has a internal whopping HUGE tank like a MH. Fill up that puppy with LP and will last you a long long time.
We have looked at many of them and for a new unit, we put them right up with the other high end units.
Fantastic 5r.
Might I ask what other units did you consider and what was it that sold you on the Trilogy?

Kro1957, we considered the usual suspects, Redwood....nice but what I considered shoddy construction in certain areas, Lifestyle, we loved just everything about them except the hip buster step coming out of the bathroom and storage was lacking in bedroom.
Next up DRV, the hideous patterns on the window dressings (their designer should be fired) , we also had no need for a dishwasher of garbage disposal and some of the things that we did want were standard on the Trilogy and optional on the DRV.
We also considered Excel but I could never get the DW to warm up to them for some reason.
We spent nearly 2 years researching ,going to shows and dealer lots and everytime we kept coming back to the Trilogy, Nice interior contemporary design, clean woodwork ,not overdone , residential fridge, tons of storage space, dual awnings.
the only negative is lack of disc brakes which I will be converting to .

I am sure there are other things I forgot to mention here ,but I its early and I have not had a cup of coffee yet !

Defiant,
You will have to give us a report back after a good shake down.
DW and I also hit show after show all over looking at units, taking notes to compare, photos, measurements, trying to compare the quality & value against each other. It is a lot to take in for sure but like you we kept coming back to Trilogy as one of our top 3 finalists.

We were a little hesitant about the large internal LP tank. Had to wonder if this is such a great idea why aren't there other 5r's doing this? Yet Trilogy really plays it up as a great feature. MH have this but we have never owned a MH so not sure of the pro's / con's but giving limited knowledge we had about that we decided it was perhaps a feature we would grow to appreciate.

The basement is unbelievable! We have not found a larger capacity yet. DW also very impressed with the galley and pantry it is also largest pantry we had seen. Very efficient and well designed.

You got a great unit IMO. Happy Camping!!

Well we arrived just north of Cincinnati, Ohio and staying at the Winton Woods Campground waiting in anticipation of picking up our Trilogy tomorrow (7/15) , this is county park but VERY nice ! We have a pull thru site ,nice concrete pad and full hookups nice bike paths, a lake to canoe and kayak walking trails, GPS was wrong but we managed to get here without me having a total meltdown . Let's hope tomorrow goes well , the neighbors are going to be totally confused, we drive in with a motorhome and next day we show up with a new fifth wheel.!
