Hello! We are motorcyclists also and are planning to bring our BMW/sidecar outfit with us on a trailer next year as we travel. Perhaps we will meet in person one day!

That is a great floorplan... if we'd had a budget that had allowed it, we would have gone with the 40X ourselves.

I have seen "lifts" that are designed for this purpose on several motorhomes. Perhaps calling a few RV Dealers or GOOGLE "motorcycle lifts" would help you find some info. How about a small trailer, open or closed, to haul the bike. This method would be easy to load/unload the bike and the MH wouldn't even know it's back there. You could also keep track of the trailer/bike with the rear camera.

Spotted your post some time ago and have been looking for one just like it. Well next week we will pick up our own 2008 Discovery 40x and be hitting the road soon. Well actually we will be doing camp hosting for part of the summer but will surely have all the bugs worked out before our longer trips start. Congrats on your rig and now we Have Our Own!!!!!!
