We spent our first night in our 08 dynaquest. Well, it was parked in the shed, but we figured it was a good idea to start slow...

Anyway, a couple of observations:
1- better TV and surround sound that we have in the house
2- really nice couch
3- bed (queen) just OK...air mattress doesn't distribute evenly, probably due to our weight difference. I can see that my hubby will have the bed, and I'm gonna throw a sleeping bag on the dinette. I am not nearly as fussy about beds as he is
4 - heating system worked just fine
5- to try out the tv, we rented Batman the Dark Knight. Lousy movie! Cant wait till its warm enough to be outside, we wont need a movie.

so far so good! Have a great weekend.

Wonderful, congrats.....

We pick up our new dynamax on Thursday from the factory. Tell us more as you try different things out. Nice to see some new truck conversions being bought.

Our Select Comfort mattress has two separate compartments, one on each side. Peggy flops all night long, like the proverbial landed fish, but with the Select Comfort I don't notice a thing.

we have the select comfort in the house, but the queen in the dynaquest doesn't have a compartment, but its all good. jtharley, I think my husband and I saw your coach when we visited the plant in January. they are amazing machines. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the factory, I know that might seem silly but it just seems to be a 'class' product. Lots to learn still, but so far very pleased.

One more camp out in the driveway and a couple trips in May close to home, then we hope to take a trip to Texas in June. Can't wait!

yep that was the ultra I bought in the factory.....going to get it Thursday. I come from a manufacturing background and you are right, the factory was clean, organized and quite impressive.

I LOVE my 2007 Dynaquest ST but wish the black tank was larger or that the shower did not drain into it. We do a good deal of dry camping and three days is about all the tank will hold. Anyone have a solution?

Hi Paul, we are still giddy with our new to us 08. Ours is a 26' so our tanks might even be smaller. So far we have just been camping in State parks and take advantage of the facilities whenever possible. I have seen folks with those portable plastic dump tanks on wheels??? Probably wouldn't work everywhere.

Agreed...I sure hope that Forest River keeps up the quality. If anyone from the company is lurking out there....we love our units, please keep up the quality!
