When we picked up our coach I had the local car alarm shop install a Viper system with up to a mile response to my key pad. The coach is totally equipped with 8 strobe lights installed under the coach. Every door, storage compartments and access panels are monitored. Two proximity switches protects the inside from the front to the rear. When in alarm two sirens, one in the front and rear along with the air horns and strobe light go crazy. One guy worked on my coach for four days with a total cost of $3,100.

Checkout the rock guard, I attached an aluminum angle on the top to stiffen and allow it to hang without bending. I also installed two backup lights to assist me when we are backing up at night. If that not enough I installed a tire monitor system and a 10 meter (BIG) CB radio. I’m currently planning a four month trip from Tamp up through Nova Scotia to Prince Edwards Island, Newfoundland and Cape Breton (Cabot’s Trail with my toad). We plan to start our trip the last part of May in 2013.

Welcome and congrats on the Allegro. Nice looking coach and have a safe trip. Seems as though your coach will be safe from vandals. Good job.

Nice coach! Looked at a few at Lazy Days just last week. Not looking to buy, was at the FMA rally there. Your home must have a protection system based on Fort Knox with the MH is equipped like you say. Sounds like a great trip! Best of luck in your travels.

Very nice!
All that stuff around the dash makes it look like a real "Cowboy Cadillac".

Nice coach Big Money. What campground is your coach at in the second photo? Looks familiar, just can't place it.

Make sure you check out the Tiffin RV Forum at: A Part of the TiffinRVNetwork • Index page

You will find a lot of good information there.

We did the same trip you are planning this past summer, but did not go to Newfoundland. Lots to see and do. On Cape Brenton let me suggest the KOA there. It over looks Seal River Bridge & the Ocean. Neat place, carved out of a mountain, and it is close to the Cabot Trail.
If you want any other info. let me know.
Also it appears we have the same make and model. If we do, I have a couple of suggestions. First, check the rear sway bar, the brackets/bushings that attach to the rear axle are usually loose and will need tightened, and some loc-tite. Also move the sway bar end links to the closest hole. That will reduce body roll.

The one under the dash is using the antenna that came with the coach. Very high SWR's transmitting but it receives great weather from NOAA. The one in the middle is a 10 meter radio that I used driving a big truck as a road driver across country. I installed another antenna on the side with great results. My SWR's are 1.1 at 300 watts

I'm not one that using the CB a lot but if you need to reach out to truckers for info on road hazards etc. that's the only way to go.
