Our New Fleetwood Discovery

My wife and I are brand new to the RV World and after looking in what seemed like hundreds of wheel estate, decided on this beauty.

2000 Fleetwood Discovery 38 ft Diesel Pusher with 28k miles. Getting some custom work done including the floors completely redone and a new 40" LCD put up front. New oven and microwave as well. Pick it up in 3 weeks and could not be more excited.

Congratulations, great looking rig. Here's hoping many, many trouble free miles and lots of smiles in it.

I would love to know the specifics as to how you are going to mount and support the 40 in tv in the front. How about it. Nice, nice coach.

They are removing the current smaller tv and the cabinet behind it that used to house a tube tv. Also removing the "cubby" to the right of it. Then hanging the TV and custom building some matching wood sheets to go around it so that it matches. I will put some pictures up of the finished product, needless to say, this guy (meaning me) would not be able to accomplish this. However I do have faith in the people doing it for us.

Congrats on the Discovery. Had the twin to it and put lots of trouble free miles on it. You will like it. Get in it and get going.

I said earlier in the thread we would put up some before and after pictures of the tv install and here they are. They removed that old tube tv cabinet that had the small LCD just sitting over it and built out a beautiful front end area to house the new 40" LCD. The thing looks great right now.

Old

New

We will have more pictures coming of the other work we are having done as well.
Outside TV installation.
New Floors
All new cabinet hardware.
Etc.
