Our New NeXus Bentley

We have finally hit the road with our new NeXus Bentley (Class A DP), fondly named Big Blue. We are driving from the manufacture in Elkhart IN to California before heading north to home in Washington. Trying to stick to the 200 miles per day. We share driving duties. The wind was a bear Wednesday and Thursday, but today in western Kansas, we have had a great evening. 5 nights down 7 more to Sacramento.

We are still working out the issues of hooking up the cable and getting the internet securely through our WiFi Ranger. Love kicking back in our recliners in the evening.
Towing a Honda CRV which we drove back to Indiana to start this exciting journey. Sure glad we had the toad, as yesterday we had to make a run into town to pick up some meds.

I really enjoy the great view of the country side we get up high in the rig.

X2 on the 200mpd. Just pulled 2 - 500 mile days and it was borderline miserable.

Nice rig!

All that black paint should keep you nice and warm this summer.

Really happy for you both. When you get time, share some interior pics as well.

I'm surprised the RV manufacturer can call it a Bentley, since that's a registered trademark of the car manufacturer, Bentley. The cars of that brand name have been around since the early 1920s.

A neighbor in the UK had one back in the 1950s. Six-liter straight-8 with a 4-seat convertible body. He came into our gas station one day and left it at idle. It was a time when electricity was often not available. My Dad was using the hand crank on the pump and came back in to ask the owner to shut the car's engine off, as he couldn't catch up with the fuel consumption.
