Beautiful coach!
We just got home after picking up our 2018 Phantom 32SC on the 30th of August.
Very few problems cropped up during our 2k -mile shakedown cruise home.

We got our new Ghost home last week. Ran well towing our full size Expedition over the mountains of West Virginia and Maryland (some 7% grades).

Took grandkids camping on the 2nd night home. They had a great time. One and my daughter fell asleep in the theater seating on the way home.

Making some modifications to it. Heading to South Dakota for the first long trip in 3 weeks.Click image for larger version

Joe, this is an old thread which got resurected. We've been on 2 cross country trips so far, 2 South Dakota pheasant trips and have 23,000 miles on it.

We bought last june a used 2016 36 ds ghost, we love "orca". 33,000 miles. it needed tires general maint and some items to make it ours. We were gone six months June to Nov. 2019. We had a list when we returned to be repaired under a warranty we purchased at time of sale. Other than maint and things we wanted done so we had a baseline. The levelers did not work correctly(oil leak), slide made not good grinding notice when operating dinette slide( replaced motors and slides), heat pump Coleman mach 8 + died, it's a throwaway it was replaced. Everything was repaired by Arizona RV owner Dan. Mesa Arizona. The Cummins ours 325hp and Allison is a great combination. We had a 2018 lance camper on a 350 ford gas....sickening...lack of power...due to weight. Love love this mh. While we are in lockdown we dynamatted(soundproofed) the cab. (Summit racing)

Hi, Marty,

I's like to know about the dynamat process. I'll send you an email.

OP here.

We've had our Ghost since September, 2017. Right now we're on our way back from Colorado where we spent a few days social distancing in the high desert (9,000'). We spent 2 weeks on the trip after having been stuck in the house for 6 weeks. Never came within 20' of anyone and never had to shop. IMO, it was a great way to enjoy nature without imposing on anyone.

Last year, we did Alaska. Currently, have 43,000 miles on our Ghost. Durastar chassis has been awesome pulling a fullsize SUV. Coach is perfect for the way we have used it. We prefer boondocking. My only real complaint remains the wind noise in the cab. I agree with the solution only being the ventless glass door and single mount mirror mount. We can tolerate it (have for 43,000 miles) but it is an irritant.

Happy Nexus owner.

Chris
