Our new old 2000 Land Yacht XL 390

We went from a great 2004 Bounder 35E to a 2000 Airstream Land Yacht XL 390 DP with a 330 CAT on a Freightliner chassie so I could put a motorcycle lift on the back and be able to tow the car. This is a great coach and will be nice to travel in.

Nice looking coach.

I hate to rain on any one's parade but before you spend $$$ on your lift , I'd load up the coach for travel and go and get your axle weights , to make sure you have the rear axle capacity to add weight to the hitch area.
Loaded for travel , my chassis , would only handle , 800 lbs on the hitch , before the rear axle would be overweight.

When we get the coach I plan on weighing it and than I will know where to stow every thing and talking to the dealer it will handle a 1000 lb motorcycle with out any problem. But I will be able to verify the weight on the rear axle after it is set up.
