We have been full time since Sept. 2011. We were tired of the northern Ohio winters so after my DW retired we sold everything and headed south. Our original plan was to spend the fall and winter checking out places we though we might like to relocate to.
After 3 months we decided to forego the relocation plans and just travel. That decision required us to trade in our TT and 1/2 ton truck for a residential unit and heavy duty truck. We are very happy with our new lifestyle and plan to be on the road for at least two more years. We are currently in the southeast with plans to zig zag between the coast and the mountains on the way to Maine. Our son and his wife are through hiking the Appalachian Trail so we will be meeting up with them a few times along the trail then pick them up in Maine this fall.
Forums like this are a valuable resource and I read them daily. Thank you all for your nice words and advice....see you up the road.
