Our "New" Rig

After 20 years of planning - with a little more than a year to go before retirement - we decided it was time to purchase our first ever RV. We closed the deal in February - but left the coach on the dealer lot until the weather broke.

Yesterday morning we drove the 150 miles to the dealership - and spend the entire day having our Jeep prepped for towing, getting schooled by dealer staff on how to operate the various coach systems, getting a quick driving lesson (it's my first experience with anything this big as well as my first experience with air brakes). We spent our first night in the coach on the dealer lot last night - and finished our orientation this morning.

Our adventure got real around 11:30 when we drove of new (to us) coach with Jeep in tow off the lot. Here's a pic of our "rig".

Sweet rig!! It sounds like you've earned it. One day, I will have a motorhome like yours.
