After a 6-month test of actually owning and using a motorhome (used 1999 Southwind 36T), we decided that this RVing idea works for us. We've just traded the Southwind for a brand new 2004 Kountry Star 3740. It's on a Workhorse W22. After following the numerous IRV2 WH threads I insisted on one and boy am I glad. What a difference.

We bought it at Dave Arbogast RV in Troy - what a great bunch of people, honest, fair helpful, everything you could possibly hope for. The one stop on our way home was a brief overnight stop in a Walmart parking lot - we called ahead and got the okay. So now I want a brief, close to home shakedown trip before we head south for the winter.

I didn't think the extra half bath would be that useful for just the two of us (my wife Sylvia's the copilot) but with the bedroom slide in I didn't have to climb over her in the middle of the night. I don't expect to need this advantage more than occasionally but it was nice to have.

We are pleased as punch.

Sylvia and Ken Kaplan

Congradutlations on your new rig. I'm sure you will have a great time using it during your trips. We had an '03 3740 and really enjoyed the bath and a half.
