Our new Rockwood!...and a truck to tow it.

Over the past winter, we toyed with the idea of downsizing from our older Four Winds Class A to a truck/trailer combo to have something with less reliability concerns on long trips.

Sold my Honda Fit in June, and two weeks later flew out to Minnesota to pick up a 2012 GMC Sierra with the full tow package and only 18k miles. Got a great deal compared to our market here in WNY.

Sold our Class A two weeks ago, and after looking at quite a few junky and/or overpriced used trailers, decided to spring for a longer term keeper. Took the new truck for a 14 hour day trip to Ohio this past weekend and got our new 2017 Forest River Rockwood 2109S!

The waiting for our first trip is brutal. Love (almost) everything about the new rig so far, it's the perfect layout for us.
