Finally, here she is!

Monday we arrived at Lazydays to trade the PaceArrow for an 08 Knight, and Thursday, we finally rolled away in her.

First and foremost, Lazydays was a pain in the behind. Our punchlist was mostly created by thier salesman, 3 weeks ago. Nothing was taken care of before our arrival. Not the simple cosmetic stuff, not even the "OMG, some moron cut the hitch off the thing with a torch!!!"

The hitch they took care of Tuesday. The minor stuff, they waited us out, knowing we were on a schedule, and did nothing.

The deal was good though, and I love my new coach. She just drives so nice, especially compared to my previous "UPS Truck with a bathroom"

Anyway, she is an '08 Knight 40 SKQ, 41 feet and change, 4 slides, cummins ISC, Roadmaster RR8R chassis, just about every option in the book. I especially like the dinnette / j lounge, the front kitchen layout, and the side bath, all in one room.

Here's some pics.

Wow! Nice looking second home Jim. With all that storage you think the trash can would be in a cabinet not the middle of the floor. great trade up from the PA

LMAO @ the trash can!!!!
We just haven't decided top keep the one from the PA, or the one screwed inside the cabinets in the knight.

serves you right. UPS truck with a bathroom? It was your baby before you moved to the high class neighborhood. I'm just jealous, DW won't even consider a different rig until the kids get out of college! One starts in Aug and the DD won't get there until 6 more years.
If your ever driving through Kansas give me a hollar. We live across the street from the state park on Milford Lake.

Very Nice!
I am picking up my coach in ~4 weeks from Lazy Days and am concerned about the lack of effort they put into your punch list. Who was your sales person and (if you don't mind) what was on your punch list they did not fix? I want to make sure my sales person coordinates with (customer "bad" service) and let's them know that this will be unacceptable if I arrive and have the same results.

My salesman was Jason Gabard, and he did work hard and did a great job for us.
Our "delivery adviser" was Jason Keyes or something like that, not sure on the last name. Didn't see much of him.

The punchlist items were minuscule. Worn paint on the entry door handle. Someone replaced one of the bay door handles, it needed paint and a lock cylinder. And the passthrough slideout tray sticks and won't slide. And the trailer hitch. PO had a cycle rack, which he wanted to keep, so someone torched it off!

I also asked and asked for maintenance records, never got them. But they did change the oil, filter had a name on it and date 3-4-11. They replaced 2 worn front tires b4 I got there. And once I freaked out at them, they jumped on that hitch.

Overall I'm satisfied with the experience. They treated us good, and the coach is fabulous.

I am glad to hear that they did take care of your issues...it's just unfortunate that you had to take it up a notch to get the work done that should of already been completed. Seems to me, if you do it right the first time it would create some loyalty and trust with the service department. hopefully they will get to that point in the near future.
