Our “new” used rig

Just bought our first Class A, a 2007 Fleetwood Bounder 40 ft diesel pusher. My wife and I plan on seeing the U. S. After daughter graduates next month. We are fairly young, 54 and 44, so we are very fortunate. Our house is paid off and this rig was in great shape and didn’t break the bank. We are long time campers with a permanent setup at our local TVA lake. Started learning new stuff the minute I drove off the lot!!

Congrats on your upcoming adventure, though I would suggest taking a few shake down trips before hitting the road on the great US tour.

Nice rig and I like your plan. Last time I found myself between companies I took a one week vacation with each of my four sons. They all still talk about those trips and argue over who had the best one. Each was based on what they like to do, so fortunately they each believe theirs was the best. Worked out pretty well. Your situation sounds great, but I still think the one on one time is worth considering, even if just your shake down trips.

Yes, the first few will be small trips close to home. Not only to work out any bugs but mom and daughter have never really been apart. Both have a little anxiety they are trying to downplay

Inside was great. Leather was all new looking. Living room was all vinyl tiles, we didn’t want carpet due to pets. The carpet is still in the bedroom and it is an ugly green but we will fix that!
