Picked up our first Class C

I'll say this it's been a dream of mine to have a Class C from quite a while. Been around RV's especially Class C's since I was 2 days old. Many a summer with my grandparents in the many they owned over the years.

Picked it up last night. 05 Jayco Espacade 28 with 26k. Already have 3+ trips planned over the next couple months. My wife and 2 boys (2 and 5) are just as eager as I am, they've broke it already by turning on just about every light. I've lurked on here for about a month a lot of good advice on here!

Very nice! Welcome and let the memory making begin. We camped all through our son's early days (33 now and getting marriwd next weekend). Never had a nice rig like that though. We moved from a tent to a pop-up in his early days. When he camps with us now he always comments on the splendor we have now vs the "old days". Lots of great times coming!

Thanks everyone! We debated about starting with a pop-up or trailer but decided to start out with what we wanted. Took a while to get out of debt and save up some cash.. it and our house is our only real debt. Slept 2 nights in it so far with her family being in town, the boys love it! Already passed the travel gene to the boys since they love to travel not sure on the RV gene.

Enjoy your travels with the kids. In just a few short days they'll be grown. Then you can go with the grandkids.

All is well just alot of things needing fixed. Including a roof leak that somehow I missed during the pre-buy inspection.. and trans leak and propane leak. First nights spent in it was me and the boys in the driveway, inlaws in town. First real trip was to Eureka with just me and DW and 2nd trip was the lake with everyone. The boys love it... "Daddy I want to sleep in the camper". Have 2 trips a month till winter not sure what we'll do during the winter months, I guess driveway camping it may be.

Grand kids although a long way down the road is ok not sure about great-grand kids though. That's who the boys are with this week in Santa Claus Indiana. I think grandpa's about to hang it up though which is too bad.
