Picking up our first Motor Home

Driving to Fl with our new tow car this Saturday to pick up our new to us Motorhome. We bought. 2014 Chev Sonic where Lazy Days will be installing all the tow equipment. The Motor home is a2013 Tiffin Allegro Open Road 32ca and has 10,000 miles on it. We had a fifth wheel but this will be our first motorhome. We wanted to stay at a reasonable length so we can camp easily at our State Parks and hopefully be able to do some travel through some of the National spots. Excited and a little nervous to drive home as I've never towed a vehicle before. Hope all goes well.

Lazy Days installed the tow equipment and SMI brake on our toad. They did an excellent job including connecting up the charge line.
Don't worry about towing the Chevy, there is nothing you need to differnt except you can't back up.
Safe travels and have fun!

Congrats on the new MH. Don't worry about the toad. Once you've gotten about 5 miles down the road you won't even notice it being there. Backing up is a big No-No. Good luck and Happy Trails!

Picked up dinghy

We picked up the second part of our purchase today which we will drive to Lazy Days this weekend. What a nice little car. We have an Equinox which could also be towed but this little Pup will be much lighter and was it fun to drive home. We were quoted $1,000.00 in discounts plus the dealer reduction in price and when we got there to pick it up they told us they did more research and gave us a total of $2,600.00 in rebates. Wow, were we happy. That will pay for all of the tow bar, the car bracket and light hook ups for the dinghy. We are happy campers.
