Our dream machine, and from the responses, many others too!!
We've had "Sadie II" 1 year and it is just super!! The previous RV we had was "Sadie", really hated to see her go, BUT,

here is "SADIE II"...
New to us, 1997 3060 DP Safari Trek
It is a 30 ft. diesel pusher with an International Harvester 444-E engine, 7.3 liter, with an Allison 4 speed AT-542. This engine and trans. replaced the CAT. 315hp motor and Allison 6 speed normally found in this 8" rail Magnum Blue Streak chassis. (Sahara based)
When the CAT. motor was removed they left all the external CAT. components in place; radiator, air intake, exhaust, external filters, and inter-cooler.
The coach averages over 10 mpg towing or not.
Capacities are: 100 gal. water, 90 gal. fuel, 55 gal. black, 55 gal. gray, and 35 gal. L.P.
On the inside: front entry, Magnum dash and steering and controls, rear bedroom with queen bed, and, the noted, Trek Electro MagicBed, full queen bed that comes down out of the ceiling in the living room. So we have 2 bedrooms!! Couch makes into bed also. Full walk in bath with shower and we just installed a fireplace in the living room!! Very roomy for not having slides!

This RV was a prototype, Ser. #107777, only one built by Safari in 1996 for 1997 production, to promote a change in the Trek chassis but, due to cost to the public, it never took off. The public wouldn't pay what Safari needed to get for it. Actually it is half Trek and half Sahara.

So there you have it, we were lucky enough too become the proud owners and will be using it for another 3 years til I retire. There are pictures in the Photo section.
