I think you will be happy with the Fleetwood factory support. Nice coach.

Thanks all! The wife just said last night she wants us to get a floorplan with bunks for the kids so that certainly narrows things down. Now if I could only find a 2015 Discovery 40G for 150k we'd be golden.

Not sure how many kids you have but I have 4 which made the Excursion more enticing with the drop down bunk. We also looked at the Discovery and the Expedition.

My daughter loves the drop down bunk. Can't wait to take ours out with our new love seat recliner I just installed

I only have two kids, but expect since they are twins(1 boy, 1 girl) and are in constant competition with each other even at 3.5 years old, that they will fight over the top bunk so the drop down bunk will give each one a "top bunk". The two things I really hate about the Excursion are the queen bed only (I'm 6'4", 250lbs) and the 6 gallon water heater(no on demand in 2015?).
One other question for the Excursion owners out there - is the A/V system run with HDMI or RCA cables? I will be building a small HTPC for my RV and want to be sure that it has HDMI in the walls.
Thanks!!

One last question/favor to ask of the 35B, C, E owners...What is the distance from the rear axle to the back cap(or tip of hitch)?, and when the bags are full what is the distance from the ground to the bottom of the hitch?
I ask as my driveway goes up from the garage and then levels off, but I have a gut feeling that front of the coach will be up too much and as I'd drive away the hitch might scrape on the flat concrete. I think I may need to do some regrading of my driveway prior to purchasing and if I had these few measurements could build a wood mockup to verify.
Any help is appreciated - thanks all!

dont have the dimensions handy but most likely you'll hit the chrome tailpipe first. I can only back into my driveway, if I try to go in front first the two dragbars on the frame hit the ground. Found that out the hard way

That will be the first mod I do to it, take off the tip, cut the pipe 4-5", put the tip back on. I think it looks ridiculous how far they put it out, but I guess it keeps the paint cleaner.
