The new "Dutch Oven" 2015 Fleetwood Excursion

We have finally taken delivery of our brand new Fleetwood Excursion 35E with the bunkbeds and drop down bunk. These were the keys features why we ultimately chose this model We narrowed it down to the Thor Palazzo 33.3 and the Jayco Seneca but ultimately the layout and smooth ride of the Fleetwood won the decision.

Less than 60 days and our family starts exploring this great country.

I am currently back and forth between the Jayco Senenca (TS or RB) and Fleetwood Excursion (35B) myself. Can you give some more insight on why you went with the Excursion? Any help is appreciated, and yes, nice coach!!

I was sold on the Jayco Seneca at the RV Show. It kind of ruined the rest of the show because I was sold on it. Thankfully I am not an impulse buyer and waited to test drive it and the Excursion. The first reason I went with the Excursion was I have never driven a diesel motorhome before and the shear quietness of the pusher versus the front engine was amazing. The second reason was the hard riding front suspension of the Jayco because it is leaf spring instead of air ride. The third reason, which was the most minor, was the loss of the dashboard area and use of the driver/passenger seat ability to turn around for use in the living room.

If I were to add a fourth reason which isn't related to either coach is because I didn't like the way Tampa RV One conducts business and treated us.
