Took the Plunge Fiver to Class C

Hi!!!

Just traded in our fiver for a class c. We did a lot of looking but the one that seemed to pick us was a 2008 Four Winds Chateau Sport 28A. We are thrilled and the kids really love it. We went from a truck camper to the fiver and never really used the fiver because our situation makes us more of day campers right now....translation 10 dogs. We are going away tomorrow to a close beach for a 2 night trip.

We were on the forum previously but I couldn't get into our old account so I set up a new one.

Congrats, my Wife will tell anyone the main advantage to Motorized over towables is the TOILET! I say it's the fridge, but it's hard to use the toilet and drive at the same time.

Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmmm isn't that what cruise control is for? When I was a little girl I use to see Class C's when we would drive to Florida and I so wanted one and to ride above the driver as we went down the road. Hubby said when we go to Florida he'll let me ride up above just before we get to the Disney campgrounds.

Toilet and coffee yup that's heaven for me. Thanks!!!

The unit looks great! You all will enjoy it. We also went from a fifth wheel to a motorhome and enjoy it immensely. I learned the lesson that if we were going to be stationary for a long period of time, the fiver is great but since we move around so much we enjoy the advantages the motorhome has to offer.

Just send a PM to a mod or admin with your old username & they should be able to merge your accounts or get you re-established with your old one. It's been done a lot since the new software took hold.

BTW, congrats on your new rig. Safe travels & enjoy!

Great looking RV Ed. We moved up also from a camper to a motorhome. Love it. Haven't looked back even once. Well, maybe when we try to get our golf cart and vehicle to the beach in the same trip. Guess a truck would solve that problem but just don't have a need for one.

Enjoy that RV. Looks good.
