Traded our Airstream LY for Newmar Ventana
We just returned home with a new (to us) 2007 36' Newmar Ventanna DP. It's our 2nd motor home & 1st DP. So far, we're loving it.
I'm hoping this forum will be full of brand specific information to help us maximize the enjoyment & minimize the frustration of ownership. I've already picked up a few bits of wisdom from reading the posts…Things that seem to be Newmar quirks.
And, now my first question….is there a section on this forum that addresses decorating topics? We want to replace the carpeting…maybe with another material (tile or laminate) or maybe just new carpet. Any experience?

Congratulations on your new to you Ventanna! On most MH's, under the carpet is linoleum. We have friends that just took out carpet from their MH and it was all new looking linoleum underneath. They put some type of flooring strips down to hide the holes from the carpet tacks. You might save some $$ if you investigate a little bit under your carpet.
Safe journeys.

Congratulations!
Search my username for info and pictures of our carpet replacement with sheet vinyl. Best thing we have done to our coach.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Kdsgone, I will poke around a bit & see if we might have the tile flooring under the carpet. Thanks for the suggestion. vsheetz, I tried to find your pictures….no luck.Is there a thread title I could narrow it down to?

Wow, "007"…Thanks for the information. I just spent hours scanning the "quick tips & easy mods". I'll have to check back there later…as I'm now on overload of good ideas.
The original brochure was fun to see.

Congratulation on your new Ventana. Welcome to the Newmar family.
You'll find a world of knowledge in here. I hope you found the Newmar owners, from the owners formum tab above.
Good luck with your coach and Happy Trails!!
