Upgrade from Gas to DP

Ok, we done it, let our 2000 Coachmen Santara go to a new home, traded it for a 2011 Tiffin Phaeton 40QBL?. Took me 1/2 hour to get it out of my driveway, finally just backed it the 600 feet to the highway. Used to be able to turn that 36 around on the driveway with no problem, now to turn this thing around several of the dw's holley bushes and azaleas will have to be removed, hence backed 600 feet to highway, still took out a driveway marker light. Now 800 miles away in Lafayette, IN Will tell you more as I experience it.

Our DP is 6' longer than our 1st Class A, a gasser. We can turn around in the drive but it's tight. We did have to lengthen the garage though and we have to take the long way around to the highway because of the entry gates & angle of our drive. It's either that or block the road while we hook up the Jeep & adds about 5 miles to our trips.

We think it's worth it!

I Had a 32 ft gasser and moved up to a 40 ft, what I did was put a two way radio in TW hand and if she not talking I'm not moving.

We would send some but here we sit in Lafayette IN and the park is full (contractors) and our site is unlevel and muddy, will not make any decent pictures. When we get down the road to our next park tomorrow PM will attempt pictures.
