Wanted a Roadtrek but got a Libero

Actually, this senior hippie is moving up from a VW Westfalia to a gorgeous Libero. Looked at a Roadtrek but sidekick said no way, too small. Nothing small about this Libero. It's first class all the way. Now we just have to figure out how to use it and we'll be fine! Pulling the California dock lines off and heading to points unknown. Spending time in Mexico - some of it in our home and maybe some in our motor home. We'll see. In the meantime, how do I start this rig?!

Why Libero over Serenity? Are you going Toad or w/o?

Congrats on the Libero. I downsized from a 40' DP to a Libero. We looked at Roadtrek, Pleasureway, ERA and other B's. Sprinter and non sprinter chassis. My DW did not want to go down to the smaller B.

We also looked at the Serenity, it was a tough choice between the chevy and sprinter chassis. The chevy seemed to have a slightly better ride, a bit more power and larger tanks and a 4kw gen. But the Serenity is a cool coach as is the Unity.

The Libero is right sized for us now, and we tow a Smart Car when we take a car but on one occasion we towed our Malibu. Often we do not take the car.

Our next coach may be a 2015 Unity TB.
