We gots wheels!

Pulled the pin and bought a new to us DP motorhome.

It is a 1999 Monaco Diplomat 38A. Been lurking on this forum for five plus years. Thanks for all the education!

Not new to RVing, we have had a tent, a 1951 Montgomery Ward tent trailer (that was a kick), Holiday Rambler Class C and a Wilderness TT but itís been a few years.

Picked it up in Portland on Saturday and drove it home to the Seattle area in the dark and rain. Interesting experience since I hadnít driven one that big before. My DW was following me and said I didnít force anyone off the road, so thatís a good thing.

Now the learning curve begins. Sure is a lot bigger and more complicated than our tent trailer.

Looking forward to soaking up some more education.

dubbyjig, congrats on your new purchase. Guess you have been lurking for quite awhile! I'll bet you had your homework done as well before your purchase. Your life of camping sounds somewhat like mine. As I'm sure you know, this forum is a great place to learn about things.

Have fun and keep us posted on your adventures.
