My lovely wife and I spent a big chunk of our kids' inheritance yesterday - made a deal on a 2006 Winnebago View, 23H. We're picking it up this coming Wednesday.

I thought I previously found a good PDI checklist somewhere on this forum . . . but can't find it now! Can you help me?

Yeah - tried such a FIND, but grew weary of reading all the posts asking the same question I asked! Thought maybe someone else knew just where to find the PDI list . . . maybe my patience ran out too soon (my lovely wife says that is a common occurence for me).

I'll keep looking --- and thanks for the good wishes.

There are an aweful lot of PDI's floating around out there, ... that is until you try and find one.
I also couldn't find the one I was looking for, but this one has some great and easy to understand points:
http://www.rvlifestyle.net/rv/downloads/pdi.php
and then go to his:
"RV LIFESTYLES"
"RV RESOURCES"
"CHECKLISTS"
"PDI CHECKLISTS"
(his #10 is VERY important)

And congrats on you new rig! That is very exciting. I have enjoyed watching your slow and well thought out research that you have done while on the trail for your new rig. You put a lot of effort and communication here into getting this rig.

have fun while 'See(in')The USA" !
Mike

Perfect PDI . . . thanks!

Funny --- my wife and I have owned more than 40 automobiles/pickups and we've bought & sold about a dozen homes in nearly as many states in our 38 years of marriage --- we've never put so much thought and planning into anything like our motor home! irv2 has been very helpful. Hope all that leads to fun and good times

Again, thanks for the help - appreciate your commnets.

Congrats on the new addition!

Your comment made me think of the recent tv-commercial about the couple who scrimp and save for years for their daughter's college-tuition, only to find she gets awarded a scholarship. Last part of the commercial shows the (now-older) couple shoving-off from the dock in their new huge boat aptly named "College Fund". Gotta love it.

Let us know how it goes,
Ron

Warren & Debbie,
Well, did you get the new coach yesterday?
Does it have that Mercedes diesel in it?
Now that is going to be fun ehhh???

Congratulations!

Its kind of fun around here to post a pic of yourself standing next to your new rig.
We'll be looking,
Mike

Yep -- it's ours! Left the dealership with our Escape behind us on the dolly and we headed for home. The Mercedes diesel seems to work well. This is going to be fun :cheek

Here's a simple picture (fairly low resolution - used the cell phone camera), will get some better ones soon.
