I know, sour grapes. Do yourself a favor and search for posting on Clear Choice, it may give you a heads-up on what to expect.

Jimmy,

I would look hard before you take the RV off the lot.

I have to share what Fred posted.

I brought my Monaco off E-Bay too from them with out looking.
The write up sounded good and when I made an offer they agreed.

So when it arrived the front windshield was broken which wasn't shown on E-Bay photos the batteries were all dead and nothing was serviced.

The tires were over 10 years old on it and it seemed like they took everything out that they could.

I tried filling a claim with E-Bay but they were smooth on how they had my post reacted.

Then, they sent the title months later and he just signed off on the repo title from the bank but Arizona MV wouldn't accept it. So I sent it back and then they wouldn't send me the new title until I paid for it.

What a scam.

Well after about ten grand later I think we got it together for a safe long trip.

So be wise when you get there and look hard before you drive off.

PS: Congrats if it works out and enjoy the road.

Thanks for the heads up. I will ask for a PDI at least. If that isn't provided, I will see if I can find a dealer (to inspect it themselves) in the area before I even send any paperwork or book a plane flight.

I also will see if the seller will provide contact info for other recent purchasers for me to contact and make sure they havent had buyers remorse.

Well, I didnt get the alfa after all. In addition to having some reservations about the cat motors built in 2004 (fuel pump problems) and the also the condition known as alfa cancer that seems to be pitting on the outer skin (supposedly does not actually perforate the skin - just looks crappy) combined with the fact that I was leaving town on a 9day trip, I just had too many balls in the air to get focus on the coach. But, while I was on the trip, I did notice the same seller (clear choice - enough said), had a 2001 holiday rambler Endevor (which was really what I was wanting) that looked promising. So I had an inspector check it out today.

The inspector said he made it about half way through the inspection and then he said he stopped. Come to find out the HR has no holding or propane tanks. They have been REMOVED!!.. You would think that would be one of the not so smaller details that would be mentioned in the auction.. huh.. no so it seems.

Were you thinking about actually doing anything in this RV other than driving it? Well you might want to bring about 4 or 5K $ of pocket change to make it usable.

Ill say a prayer for anyone who buys at Clear Choice 😜 Just do a quick Google search. Right next door is Colton Truck Terminal. They did my PDI on the Country Coach I was thinking of buying. They did find problems but not a ton. Bought the rig and took it back so they could fix most of the problems. Great bunch of guys, no complaints. Most likely I'll take it back for routine or other work on the Chassis or engine...
