Brought my 2003 Itasca Suncruiser in to get the genset fixed and saw they were giving away a 2007 leftover Tour. Called my wife from inside the new coach and said 'Honey, I think I'm in our new motorhome!' Just took it out to Yellowstone and it is a dream to drive compared to the old Workhorse chassis I had. The 5 extra feet also made a big difference. Kids love the outside TV and wife likes the washer/dryer. I like the air horn!

Now that's one way to fix a genset!
Congratulations on your new coach.

We purchased a 2008 40TD and love the floor plan. We shopped for 5 years or more and knew what we wanted, or rather what we didn't want. The Tour TD fit us perfect. We got a good deal from a dealer in TN so we drove the 400 miles to pick it up. That was Nov 10th. we drove it home and put it in the shop to get a few warrenty items done. Windshield wiper broke, a hydrolic leak in a leveler and an odometer problem. It was in the shop for 30 days, nothing got done! We went and pulled it out and now have an appointment with another Winebago dealer in January. The whole situation is aggravating but we know we got a good MH, we just have to get over this hurdle. The sad thing is we had to cancel 2 trips. The Tour TD has a great floor plan, drives good and looks good. We'll be happy campers when we get it back, we just hope the next trip doesn't reveal any more problems.

We'll live in it in 2010 here and go full time in 2011. We can't hardly wait!!

mikenmo... Don't be afraid to call Winnebago directly if you continue to have problems. Often times dealers can be the problem. Thats why many choose to return to the factory for sevice if they are able. Good luck.
