09 american eagle - sink drain leak

My kitchen sink began draining slowly, upon further investigation it dripping a little as well. The hose goes down through the floor. When the slide is retracted it should feed back into a hole and be routed on top of the tank. At some point that did not happen correctly or maybe everytime it is extended and retracted it is not happening. The drain hose has gotten kinked and now cracked and leaking. Can I splice it? Anyone have experience with this kind of problem?

You could splice it but if were me I would replace the whole hose with one that is longer and routed correct so it works good and don't kink up

I had to replace my hose and found hot tub or spa hose the best. Not as flexable but strong
