Where at? Around here (Upstate SC) I paid 2.99 at Ace and Heratige Propane (A wholesaler) want's like 3.69 (Anyone wonder why they don't get much business) if you drive in.
Last spring I called a propane dealer in a town many RVers have heard of TEKONSHA (Check your trailer brake controller) and they told me 2.69.. So I visited my dad's old farm and tanked up.

I was at CW in Lake City Florida last Weds. and was told they had propane for $1.99 on Tues and Weds and thought it would stay that way for a while. That is a pretty good price IF you are at a CW and need propane. We were about out of propane 3 weeks ago in Ft Myers Beach and paid nearly twice that amount. We had a choice of either having the gas delivered to our site or unhook and go to fill station. I opted for the easiest way and had it delivred even though I had to pay more per gallon.

I looked it up,,, and made a mistake. The $1.49 was for my residential propane (250+ gal). The RV was filled at $1.58 per gallon... at the end of Sept.
