#1 Campground Review Place?
What is the number 1 RV campground/park review app and/or web site?
We currently use three or four, depending on how you count them: RV Park Reviews, Campendium, RV Parky and Allstays Pro. What is/are your favorites? It gets kind of tiresome writing reviews in 3-4 different places, so I would like to just get it down to one or two at the most and obviously I would like that one to be the one most used.

We just finished a 6000 mile tour, and I used RVPARKY for the entire trip. We never made one reservation. We would look roughly the previous night how far we thought we would get the following day. About two or three pm I would call ahead to the best looking one. It was February and we had no trouble finding spots. The review section of the app was very helpfull, and I found them quite accurate. We didnt get one bad park, thanks to rvparky. I found it helpful that it lists the prices as well.

Rv Parky is great with one exception. The distance to a mapped campground is terribly innacurate. Maybe it uses a straight line distance. The driving distances will be anywhere from 12% to 30% longer than indicated. So from a planning perspective, an 8 hour drive might take 10 or more hours. Those extra few hours are usually the least pleasant.
This observation comes from using ver. 22 on both an I-pad and on a Android device. Using I-15 as an example, RV Parky shows Las Vegas, NV as being 1033mi/1664km from Calgary, AB. But Rand McNally and my own trips put the actual distances at 1330mi/2144km. (All the intermediate locations from Sweet Grass to Cedar City are also off by the same percentage.)
It is a great tool to have on the road. It's too bad this one valuable feature is so badly flawed.

Thanks for the info about the distance being inaccurate. Good to know; however, is it the main app you use for reading reviews vs. finding and navigating to a campground?

I did not find this at all. The mapping is tied right into my gps on my I phone 6. I didnt use my phone for a gps as I have one that goes on my dash and doesnt use any data. The distances shown on the app always matched the ones on my dash gps.

You jogged my memory. RV Trip Wizard (trip planning program) links to campgroundreviews.com... makes the CG finding even easier. In RV Trip Wizard the Point of Interest (POI) lists all traditional free overnight CGs i.e. Walmart, Cabellas, etc.
