1992 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Window Issues

Hello All,

I'm sorry, I'm sure this topic just had to have been discussed before, but it seems that the search area here isn't very, 'mobile friendly', (even going to the desktop site).

As mentioned, I have a 1992 (37 foot) Pace Arrow. I've got problems with 'several' windows that I can't close all the way, because the crank mechanism, 'in the screen', seems to be stripped out. These seem to be pretty junkie plastic parts on what 'was' a very expensive RV in the day.

Are there replacement parts for these? A way to replace these, or am I looking at replacing the entire window, over these plastic crank mechanisms?

These crranks 'seem to be' a part of the screen... I have to admit, something I never seen before. If replacement parts are available to fix these, am I going to have to replace the screen as well?

And what about that screen? I have one screen that is... Well, probably should be replaced. Is this a screen I can take up to the local hardwate store to be, 're-screened'? Will they be able to install new screening material, going around that crank mechanism?

I 'hope' there are upgraded 'metal parts' to replace 'plastic parts' in these mechanisms, so they won't strip so easily.
