1993 allegro ceiling screw caps

Hi I was wondering if anyone here knows of a resource that I can find screw caps for my 1993 allegro 34 class A motorhome.
The ceiling has a moulding that covers the seams in between the ceiling panels, these are about 1 1/2" inches wide and are secured to the roof by phillips head screws. These screws have a washer like metal ring that the screw caps attach to to conceal the screwheads the screw caps are made of plastic and thru the years the material has deterirated and they crack and fall off leaving the screw heads exposed.
I have searched on line but could not find the right size, the ones that I have found are 5/8" O/D I need 5/8" I/D.

If anyone can help it would greatly be appreciated.

Ivan

There are many types of caps available. They come in different sizes, colors and mounting methods. One type has a metal disc under the screw head and a plastic cover that snaps on to cover the screw head. If you have this type, I doubt if you will be able to replace just the cap unless you get very lucky. Because of the snap fit, the size of the metal disc and the size of the plastic cap have to be matched, so you will probably have to replace both the disc and cap.

Google "screw caps," and you will get more than you ever thought possible. HERE is one possible source. I have also seen the covers at Lowe's and Home Depot. Go to the hardware department and look in the drawers where they keep special fasteners.

I purchased the screw covers you are searching for at an upholstery supply store. This was several years ago, bought as a pair as Paz says, they come in many different colors.

Have you tried Tiffin???? Google them and give the parts folks a call, There is also a rv repair shop across the street from Tiffin's repair facility. McKinney or something like that. Tiffin works with them and will provide you a phone# or simply Google RV dealers in Red Bay, Al. They have tons of old Allegro parts at very reasonable prices.
