1999 Thor Cub

Hello everyone. My name is Tommy and have just joined the forum. I recently bought a 1999 Thor Cub F19. This is my first travel trailer, I have been camping since I was 3 but in a tent. I am an Eagle Scout and have done lots of camping and backpacking. Now that age has caught up with me I have moved up to a travel trailer. I chose the Hybrid because it gives me the feeling of being in a tent but with the comforts of a trailer.
I bought the trailer on ebay and gave $3000 for it. The unit is in really good shape and everything works on it. The only issue it has is the floor in the front is rotten. The cause of the moister was the rubber skin under the bottom came loose under the front and water got under it. Bad design by Thor. I have ripped out the floor and replaced it with 3/4 inch plywood, 3/4 styrofoam and 1/4 plywood and new linoleum. I braced the bottom between the chassis since there is no support. Now I need to seal the rubber under the front of the trailer. Does anybody know what can be used to seal it up and not destroy the rubber, I thought about some butyl tape. Don't know if silicon would damage the rubber or not.
I know I tend to ramble sometimes, but any suggestions would help.
