33 years of RV'ing, and this year we had the dish fall out too. Try and find a replacement that does not cost as much as an entire new microwave. [can find them new for as little as $40.00].. plate on E Bay or Amazon, $25.00 plus $10.00 shipping. Took us 4 weeks of checking city appliance dumpster to find one. Now we too remove it when we depart.

Take the center cardboard from a paper roll. Cut it to fit tight inside the micro from the dish to the top. Install before every move.
Has worked for over 11 years for me.

Know the feeling. Been RVing since '74(no MWs then) 8different rigs, but broke 2 turn tables because of door opening on one trip last year. Non since. Easy to find though.

Arent Microwave doors supposed to "lock" when shut ? I would check to be sure that the door shuts properly and secure.
